Daria Solak

Hi! I'm Daria, an illustrator and coffee addict born in Poland. I like to think about myself as a 90s kid, with a head full of quirky, questionable aesthetics. I'm based in London, where I enjoy the rain and English breakfasts every day. I studied at Academies of Fine Arts in Warsaw and Bologna and have been working as a freelance illustrator ever since.

In my work, I focus on traditional media, like watercolours, gouache and coloured pencils. Playing with textures and colours is something that helped me create my unique style and let me capture the world around me. I was fortunate to illustrate many children's books like Little Women, Little People, Big Dreams: Dolly Parton or Big Wide Words in the Neighbourhood. I collaborated with many amazing clients like Casetify, Anthropologie, Hallmark or Keith Haring Foundation but over a hundred families that let me portray them stay my favourite ones to work with.
