Hi, I am 58 years old and have been working in aviation most of my working life. Through my high school years I was quite creative and enjoyed portrait painting in particular, in mixed media and oils. I have always had an interest in ceramics, design, colour, form and pattern. I have been drawn always to the use of colour and symbols, particularly in architecture, throughout asia and the middle east. It has balance and form which appeals to me I guess. I am not great at drawing or sketching, but enjoy working with my hands, building, creating and particularly designing through colour, shapes, repeat patterns etc. All just doing it for the fun of it now.
