Thaís Curvelo Resendes

My name is Thaís Curvelo, I come from São Paulo, Brazil, where I graduated in Fashion in 2012.In 2018 I started studying Visual Communication at the Berlin University of Arts where I also work as a tutor for the Experimental Drawing class.

Right now I’m in the process of learning how to create 2D analog animations. My work’s aesthetic is inspired by an obsession for 90’s cartoons, music videos and pop culture. I like to illustrate surreal universes, to subvert symbols of femininity and create bold characters.
