Silvia De Luca

Hi! I am Silvia from Italy but I use the name Otello to sign my pieces.
Art, in its different aspects, had always been part of my life, I used to draw since I was a little kid. I kept practicing my skills but I have not found the right path for me yet.
When the moment to choose what I was going to study at university, the lack of self confidence made me choose nuclear physics over art related studies such fine arts.
Now I am 27 years old and I have found the confidence to pursue my dream of becoming a good artist!
Speaking of some artists whose work I admire I would like to mention Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele and Edouard Manet for paintings while for illustrations Hayao Miyazaki, Emiliano Ponzi and Norman Rockwell.
I decided to take part in this course because I felt the need for a more structured way of learning.
