Shalini Soni Mazumdar

Am a mom, an artist and illustrator from India. Have been a painter mostly for the last 2 decades. And have also done illustration for children’s magazine and commercial designing for independent clients.
Lately I have turned my focus to children’s illustrations. I have already done one book with, Juggernaut books, New Delhi. And an ongoing project of school books and online study material for a private school.
I’m keen on collaborating on projects for picture books, chapter books, book covers and greeting cards.
Skilled in traditional mediums like water colour, pencil colours, pencil drawing and acrylic painting.
I use an iPad for my digital illustrations using Procreate and Adobe Illustrator.
Also a proud member of the Society of Children’s Book writers and Illustrators (SCBWI ).
