Ruairidh MacNeill

I'm a self-trained VFX artist, with a specialty in modeling the more complex and render farm melting the better. I have worked exclusively in Modo since the 301 days, mixed in with Maya for pipeline integration. Starting in small scale local advertisements until my first proper role on the “Halo Spartan Ops” and now moving up to Oscar-winning productions helping break all-time box office records. In my spare time, I review and help students with their portfolios, as well as visiting universities and events as much as I can to help promote growth in the industry. I was lucky to find my way in this industry from the small place I come from so I want to make sure there is no talent and ambition left behind because they don't live in one of the big cities.
