Rebirth

A frog sits atop a woman's head. She's lifting the frog up; away from a gloomy, dark place, toward a hopeful and colorful environment.
We humans are most beautiful when we take responsibility for our actions and our place in this world. When we're able to share and live in harmony with animals.
Meaning of this piece: the world can be a selfdestructive place, but if there are people who care and stand up for a better place, then there always remains hope.

I searched for a picture of a frog as reference. I made a sketch of it, together with the woman's head and the dark pillars.
With watercolor I painted the frog and finalized it with fineliner and some colored pencils.
I painted the rest with watercolor.
Final touches with acrylic.
