Hi !
As you can see on the cover picture, i did not exactly follow the rules of the project... This has two reasons. The first is that the mother of my friend passed away as I started the course. I wanted to do something for her grave, and the second reason is that I had not received all the material (lead, etc) at this time.
It's Tiffany, but for the first steps of the project it's the same, so, let's go.

It is a family of Palestina, living in Germany. I drawed the patterns in relation to her life. I had only small sized glasses, and draw with this in mind. More details, but more work too!

I had to make many adjustments, because with this technic the glass has to adjust perfectly. This was the moment when I started to regret not having waited for the lead and engaging in such a project. But I had to make it now!
The worst part of it was the roof. I had done a patern of paper to check that it would work, be nicely incurved and fit to a square. Then I would use it to support the glass while sealing.

Well came the time to assemble, and for what concern us here, it would had been it all.... But... Uh. It should be a lamp, right? And we would like a solar lamp. Charging the day, lighting the night. Here I have to let some details unexplained. I build some lamps together to get enough charging panels (the light through the stained glass is dimmed, and we live in Germany, it's not very sunny.) and a wooden stand for all this. Then I added a little bit of hocus-pocus and..... Here it is!

So, i hope you enjoyed my adventures! @Florie Jamieson : i really enjoyed your course, very clear and complete, I thought cutting glass was something supernatural before you explained it and made it so accessible. Thank you. And thank you also for the discovery of Judith Schaechter, she rocks!
I am starting an other panel, this time with lead 😉

Profesor PlusHola Maia,
Flora
