Year of the Rabbit Stop Motion

Here is a little project for the Chinese New Year, I have never tried claymation before and it is definitely a lot more challenging than what I thought.

I am very passionate about Chinese culture and Stop Motion, so this project was the perfect excuse to blend them both and have a great time with it.

It was my first time for quite a few things, so made lots of mistakes and I learnt a lot, so that is good enough for me even though there are bits of the animation that could be better. The course was super helpful when it comes to building the character, which I have never done before, but with the very clear explanations, it was a lot easier.

I would have loved to use fabric for the character and the silky fabric for the costume but I am afraid that my zero skills sewing would make it impossible to make it for the New Year, at least for this one, and next year would be too late for the year of the Rabbit ;')
