Ecliptic ~ Final Project

ABOUT:

For my first project, I created a portrait in a rendered 3D style rather than a 2D style to branch out from my usual form of illustration.

I'm not overly practiced or confident in rendering realistic faces, and I definitely feel I can improve on facial composition in the future.

I'm happy with the colour scheme, though I feel there could be a much better balance of contrast, light, and use colour variety in future projects.

I feel most successful with my use of texture, and created some subtle ink textures scanning in a 1200 DPI quality to use in my illustration and future projects. I'm also very happy with my use of background lighting and I created some star brushes to add greater interest to the piece.
