Olivia Coetzee

I am an illustrator and graphic designer living in the Bay Area. I have an added interest and experience in writing, advanced Art History experience and a tendency to design maps and shirts for running races and a special cross country team. I have Master's in Design Research, Writing and Criticism from the School of Visual Arts in New York City (2017) and a Bachelor's degree from the North West University in Potchefstroom, South Africa (2015). In 2020 I was the first to virtually complete the Art History Honours degree from the NWU, in Potchefstroom - a degree that I benefitted from especially by being able to look at both South African and international art.

​When I am not designing, drawing or making, I enjoy runs or hikes in both new and familiar places. I am curious and love to explore, and then (time willing!) to draw or paint all the places I go, the food I eat and all the people and fauna and flora I meet on the way!
