Nikoletta Filippidi

Nikolette Filippidi was born in Athens and, from a very young age, stood out for her special love and talent for painting. Her artistic nature initially led her to graphic design, where she began her professional career.
For over ten years, she worked in advertising agencies, taking on key roles in the creative field. As an Art Director, she collaborated with top brands and companies. Her experience in advertising gave her deep knowledge of visual design, the power of imagery, and communication through color and composition. This period greatly shaped her aesthetic sense and professional approach to creating images with immediate and emotional impact.
Her passion for painting and desire for freer artistic expression led her to the Academy of Fine Arts in Germany, where she studied on a scholarship. There, she further developed her personal style and experimented with new techniques, deepening her exploration of illustration.
Her special interest in children’s books ultimately won her over, and she dedicated herself entirely to this field, pursuing a career as an illustrator. She has collaborated with major publishing houses.
Her illustrations are characterized by vibrant colors, tenderness, and imagination—qualities that speak directly to the hearts of children. At the same time, she has participated in group exhibitions, presenting her work to a broader artistic audience.
