Maja Störmer

I love animals and nature and enjoy spending my time outdoors. I grew up in Namibia and visit my family there regularly. Today, I live in Germany and work as a professor. I am fascinated by zoology and we keep and breed many pets at home and for research (mainly fish and reptiles).
Since I was small I always had a great passion for drawing (mainly mammals) and continued to visit creative courses through my adolescence (photography and different art classes). Two years ago I started to attend watercolour classes again and fell in love with the materials, especially when it comes to detailed illustrations and depictions of various animals.
