Lynore Avery

I'm a graphic designer and illustrator. Most of my commercial work is in the graphic design space, but what I love doing most is creating images. I want to tell stories. I constantly struggle to find a balance between the cleanness and precision of digital art, and the freedom and expressiveness of handmade art. I'm not happy with my ability to express narratives in illustration, so I'm hoping this course will teach me some techniques to improve this. I see myself as a general illustrator, not necessarily a children's illustrator, but I think I will be able to take what I learn here and apply it more generally.
