Lili Panjtar

I am a designer by profession, but a craftswoman by heart. I have countless ideas that keep me awake. I like to work with natural materials, and textiles are No1 among them.
I have spent most of my professional career designing for the textile industry,but for the past ten years I have my own studio, where I mainly deal with graphic and textile design.
I also work in a group of textile designers, where we create large textile installations through which we express our view of the world and current problems of today.
I also cooperate with educational institutions and public institutes in Slovenia by transferring knowledge to others. I lead masterclasses in the field of textile design and teach various techniques (botanical print, plant dyeing, indigo dyeing and shibori, paper making, paper sculpting...). Textile heritage in very important for me.
