Leda Zach

Software developer with a multidisciplinary academic and working background. Passionate about human-computer interaction, machine learning and creative programming, I want to create meaningful interactions that have a social impact.

Working on the verge of science, technology and art, my interests include software systems, interactive media, user experience, data mining and cognition. My approach engages with scientific research, artistic expression and smart technology applications, exploring new ways of interaction using wearables, computer vision and machine learning.

I hold a BSc in Informatics and Telecommmunications from University of Athens and a MSc in Cognitive Systems and Interactive Media at UPF. I have worked among others as a coding instructor, designing the educational material and leading workshops targeted to female participants, and as a software engineer at CERN, focusing on the software quality assurance of the power control systems of the accelerators.
