Leanne Silva

I'm an Interior Designer who enjoys commercial design. I have enjoyed drawing since I was a child. My influences growing up were Shel Silverstein, Tomie DePaola, and Brett Helquist who illustrated the Lemony Snicket series. As a kid I would copy their illustrations. I enjoyed fine art classes throughout my school years and especially in college where I learned to create interior design marker drawings and loved professors' interior watercolor drawings. I participate in Urban Sketchers Austin, but with less time for art, my drawing techniques have become rusty and plagued with perfectionism and analysis paralysis. Hoping to loosen up and find the joy in creation again.
