I have drawn since I was a young child.
Mostly with Ebony pencil, played with watercolors now & then.
Got into acrylics as a teen, was accepted into the Art Institute of Ft Lauderdale at age 17, but was VERY disappointed...and left.
Had kids in the 1980's, and left art altogether. Drew here & there over the decades...
Started an oil painting class late 2019, but the instructor was a terrible woman who would laugh when i asked questions, so I dropped it and learned everything about oils online.
Then I found a liking for watercolor, and dabbled in that through the Covid lockdown, and more often the last 7 months or so.
REALLY loving it at this point, but I need to learn techniques, how to slow down and focus, not be so distracted with the goings on around me.
I don't work, so have all the time in the world to learn, just need motivation to do so!
