Kathryn McKelvey

I am a recently retired lecturer. I currently do house renovations, being very interested in interior design.
I originally worked in New York City, as a designer /illustrator, for a fashion forecasting agency and this changed my life, with its street art, creativity and culture.
When I returned to the UK I taught degree level fashion students and more recently taught drawing and storyboarding to animation students. I have a BA in Fashion and MA in Design, my final project being in Motion Graphics and Animation.
I love travelling and am inspired by exhibitions, such as, Schiele and Klimt in Vienna, Basquiat/Schiele in Paris, Albert Moore, David Bowie, Yohji Yamamoto, Alexander McQueen all at the V&A, London, plus Jean Paul Gaultier at the Barbican.
