Karin Marleen Dijkstra

I am a watercolor artist and draw inspiration from music, mythologies, fairy tales, and especially from the power and delicacy of nature. I seek to capture fragile, fleeting experiences of beauty, memory, and stillness. I am Dutch-American and have lived in the Netherlands, South Africa, Switzerland, Scotland, and England, and I draw from the cultures and landscapes of those places. I am a graduate of Vassar College and currently live in Swampscott, Massachusetts.
