Migyeong Kang

Having both my own character and responsibility as a designer and implementing it into my design works has been my only dream since high school. By majoring in Industrial Design both in high school and in university, I have learnt about the growing issue of the environmental effect made by manufacturing and tones of seamlessly designed products that go to landfills so easily behind the scene, still beautiful in shape. At some point, things that are rejected and abandoned kept catching my eyes. They often inspired me with making experimental form art. Since my sophomore year, I have tried 'upcycling' in many different ways.
