I have loved to paint create and draw from a young age, When I left school it was a career in graphic design I thought I wanted but I didn't have enough graphic work, I went into Beauty Therapy instead and my art took a back seat until I was 30 when I joined a local art class and my passion was reignited for everything art, since then I have done a portfolio course in Art and design started a degree in fine art but left after the first trimester when I realised the course was stifling me creatively. I have done a few commission and sold maybe 20 paintings over 17 years not enough to pay the rent I also had cards printed from a lot of my painting and sold them locally, I am making jewellery just now painting little images on glass cabochons as well as restarting my beauty business after covid restrictions. I have been told my paintings have an illustrative quality. I really enjoyed my module design for print as we worked to a brief and I found that really helpful to have that outline. Im really looking forward to this course and so glad I joined.
