Isobel Parkes

I completed my PhD at University College London, funded through the Medical Research Council’s doctoral training programme in Neuroscience and Mental Health. My research focused on developing a novel optical technology to study somatosensation and behaviour in animals.

While I’m a trained experimentalist, my broader interests lie at the intersection of science and art – a space I have always been drawn to – with a particular focus on data analysis and visualisation.
