My name is Inez Theresa Andrews and I began my archetypal/spiritual journey in 1969 by studying astrology on Long Island, New York. Over the next many years my journey included Transcendental Meditation, Ananda Marga Yoga, a stint as an addiction therapist in Tucson, AZ where I attended workshops and training in Gestalt Therapy, Bioenergetics, Transactional Analysis, and Rebirthing, as well as training in the Silva Method.
In 1979 I completed my B.S. degree in Health Care Management in Denver, CO, and then opened a car repair business in Conifer, CO in the mountains outside of Denver. Our souls have interesting ways to guide our journey!
My first degree was in Advertising Art and Design. Then in 1983, I studied at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in Boulder, CO where I took courses in Jungian Psychology. I also expanded my studies into Hebrew mysticism, Qabalah, and the Tarot. In the following few years I facilitated women’s spirituality groups, studied Quantum Physics and its connection with spirituality, and began my lifelong love of Joseph Campbell’s work on mythology. In the early 90’s I began an M.A. program in Jungian Psychology and Archetypal Psychotherapy at Avalon Institute, in Boulder, CO, USA. This intense process of deep soul work led me to move to Kenya in 1992 where I began new journeys.
For the next twenty-plus years I put all that soul work into humanitarian and development projects working in Kenya, South Sudan, Rwanda, Azerbaijan, and Kosovo. In 1999, at the age of 54, I obtained an MA degree in International Development & Social Change from Clark University in Worcester, MA. I worked for NGOs, the United Nations, and the U.S government where I ended my career managing our foreign aid for education programs.
When I retired in 2013, I settled in Florida and immediately took a deeper dive into my soul’s journeys through art, psychology, and spiritual reflection. I am a life-long learner with a passion for the SoulCollage® process that seems to bring my life experiences together in a format where I can facilitate others to explore who they are, why they are here, and enjoy the journey. I became a certified SoulCollage® facilitator in March 2015. I’ve conducted SoulCollage® workshops in West Palm Beach, Florida, Jimena de La Frontera, Spain, and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, where I now reside much of the year.
