Angelo Zappalà

👋 Hey! I’m a Senior Motion Designer, 2D Animator, Illustrator, and Creative AI. I love solving visual challenges through storytelling and design.

I started my creative journey in 2015 at SAE Institute in Barcelona as an Audio Supervisor, working with local artists. When I moved back to Bogotá in 2018, I freelanced as a Graphic Designer and even won Best Poster Design at the Eurocine International Film Festival in 2019, which led me to become their official artist that year.

In 2020, I jumped fully into Motion Design, creating content for IDU and helping bring to life several major city projects. A year later, I co-founded Bunnink Animation, a small studio built around storytelling and creative collaboration. That opened the door to working with international clients like Glovo, where I created motion content for several countries across Africa and also produced their global ASO videos.

Since then, I’ve collaborated with brands like Bayer, Warner Music Group, KFC, Legis, TBWA and La Salle University.

In 2023, I joined Mastercard as Motion Designer at the Advisors Creative Desk (ACD), where I introduced motion templates, AI workflows, and new approaches to design to boost the team’s creative output.

In mid-2024, I also had the opportunity to teach Social Media Marketing at LaSalle College (LCI).
