Holly Morris

I am a mother of two grown children and three dogs. Nature is my influence as is different cultures. I enjoy the outdoors and love to travel. I love to learn new mediums and enjoy meeting people. I used to draw portraits and landscapes. I draw what I see and just for fun. One of the artists that first influenced me was Norman Rockwell. His Illustrations of everyday life were by far my favorite. (Before the Shot) Series - Four Freedoms (Freedom from Want) (Freedom from Fear) (Freedom of Speech) and (Freedom to Worship). Vincent Van Gough's painting "The Starry Night" caught my eyes during high school. I still find myself drawn to this particular painting. At one point of my life I was drawn to physical objects, such as, buildings or light houses. Frank Lloyd Wright "FallingWater" is most impressive. Optical illusion and the beauty of the Taj Mahal.
