Amy-Leigh Braaf

I am an filmmaker, illustrator and photographer based in Johannesburg with a BA in Film Production and English Literature who has returned to South Africa after having been living in South Korea for two years. I currently run my own non-profit online magazine which features artists all over the world and provides free interviews for them to have their work featured.

For the last 6 years I have worked as a freelance photographer, and illustrator - having sold prints of my work all over South Africa and done commissions for pieces in other areas of the world. I have previously been a writer for an international Korean magazine “Gwangju News” and have had my photography uploaded on Photovogue Italia’s website. I currently illustrate commissions on Procreate have worked with Wacom Intuos Pad before and have a lot of experience in using Adobe Lightroom for photography, and Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing. My experimental film La Douleur which I directed and edited screened at the All Light India Festival and I am currently co-writing a new short film as a side project.
