Hello 😊
I live in the Midwest region of Western Australia, and attended a six week lead lighting course in 1990 at our local TAFE; I’ve spent the last thirty years practicing what I learnt, and still it surprises me.
I was taught to crochet by a friend on the school bus! She taught me granny squares and I then went on to crochet a woollen poncho that was so heavy I was unable to wear it. Fifty years later on my crocheting skills have barely developed, and I am keen to learn more.
Now semi-retired, I run a small boarding cattery and make windows on the side.I love working with glass, and have accumulated quite a bit over the years ( which is probably just as well as it’s getting hard to source and has become horribly expensive.) I’ve hardly done any copper foil work - except for angels at Christmas time! - and I’m looking forward to learning the craft.
