Experienced WordPress Developer with PHP

ONG TERM POSITION for a mid / senior level WordPress developer with a minimum of 3 years’ experience to work with us on a long-term freelance basis, based in our stylish Barcelona office based in Poblenou.
We are Totally Communications, a Digital Agency and Software Development Company with offices in both London and Barcelona. We design and develop websites, web-based applications, workflow systems, Extranets, Intranets and Mobile Apps for a diverse set of clients across multiple sectors including Commercial, Finance, Online Gambling, Charity and Government.
You will be working alongside our designers and developers in both Barcelona and London on a wide variety of different WordPress projects both large enterprise websites as well as smaller websites covering new development, changes and some support as such strong spoken English is essential.
If you have any experience with PHP / MYSQL / frameworks as well as WordPress, or if you have a desire to learn and expand your skills, you can also work on web-based application and mobile app projects including back-end systems that we develop for our clients.
This is a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic and dynamic people looking for long-term work with a well-established London-based Company. The role is likely to involve regular trips to London if you wanted.
Ideal candidates will have:
● 3 years’ minimum experience as a WordPress developer
● Excellent spoken English (essential)
● WordPress experience and responsive CSS using bootstrap or similar

A bonus would be:
● OO PHP and any of the popular frameworks (Zend, Zend 2, Laravel etc)
● PHP / MySQL experience, including transactional programming
● Any exposure to JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, Angular, React, Sencha/ExtJs
● GIT version control experience & 3rd party API integrations exposure
● Experience working within an Agile environment
● A Degree in Computer Science, Maths, Sciences or technically-orientated subject would be looked upon favourably
