Hello hello!
I’m looking for a developer for a project related to gender equality in intellectual and creative fields. The project is non-for profit initiative managed by me, a multidisciplinary team is on board. We are looking for a long-term collaboration with talented developer to build a platform, form a core team to apply to grants and funding and build cool stuff in the intersection of technology and social context.

Project details:
- It’s a platform dedicated to gender equality.
- We target inequality intellectual and creative fields
- We are working on the project out of our enthusiasm so there is no payment at the moment. Yet, we are a team of people experienced in our fields (researchers, anthropologists, photographer etc) with history of successful grants, fundings, investment applications. We are planning to expand our activities and apply for future fundings
- There is professional aboard with 8 years of experience of being CTO of various projects.He cannot dedicate himself full-time to the project, but he will be consulting us and you can ask his advice on different topics
- Design and UX Mockups are ready to be implemented
- We take care of little expenses, buying a theme and alike

Workload on development side:
- Use your expertise to choose the best platform to build the website: WordPress/Drupal/Joomla. We foresee we can stay with Wordpress but you can change our opinion
- Advice on choosing a theme (For now - Wordpress)
- Back-end tools
- Front-end assistance according to design mockups
- Total dedication: 15-25 hours depending on your experience and speed
- Time frame: one month from now/one month and a half maximum

Web Platform elements:
- Anonymous data entries without user registration which are converted into “listing”/”post”. (See various - - -Survey to Post Wordpress plugins) Data entries have to be stored in database and .cvs format. Each “post” is tagged by 3 tags, list of posts can be filtered by these tags and text input search
- Anonymous survey without registration which is integrated/embedded into the website and converted into “posts” with very specific front-end style. Each “post” is tagged by 3 tags, list of posts can be filtered by these tags and text input search
- Data visualization of the survey summary (Stage 2 - in 2 months)
- Advanced lightbox for image review (will probably require some front-end adjustments and sharing options for every picture with a unique URL)

Your profile:
- Familiar with Data visualization
- Have a proven experience in building websites: Front-End and/or Back-End. If you master one of these, we will find you a collegue to master the other.
- You might be a student or emerging professional but you should have an understanding of web development workload, be confident with code, deliver working solutions and open to learn new tools
- Have a knowledge of managing Data Model and API of web applications
- You are inspired to work for the cause
- You are based in Barcelona or very dedicated to work remotely
- You feel comfortable in very international and diverse teams
- You are friendly, just as we are ;)
