How to enter: Participants must create an original story using Flash MX or any 3rd party software that exports to the .swf platform. The story must be 2:00 to 20:00 minutes in length and based on one of the FlashTV genres. Final deliverable of work must be an .fla and .swf.
The Greatest Story Never Told Competition is presented by ZOOLOOK Entertainment and MediaTemple and sponsored by Macromedia, with additional support from 5inch, Animation World Network (AWN), Alien Skin, Computer Arts, Discreet, Electric Rain, Final Draft, FlashAnts, Hewlett-Packard, Killersound, .net, New Riders, Peachpit Press, SXSW Interactive and TechNow. NO ENTRY FEE. NO PURCHASE OR OBLIGATION NECESSARY TO ENTER. The Greatest Story Never Told Competition (the "Competition") will begin on or around 12:01 a.m. Pacific Standard Time on October 15, 2003. Submission deadline for entries will end at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on January 15, 2004. Winners will be announced February 25, 2004. Prizes: One (1) Grand Prize, two (2) Runner ups, and (1) People's Choice winner. All winners will have their work published on The Greatest Story Never Told website <www.thegreateststorynevertold.com> for the period of one year following the Competition winners announcement.
