d’enfiada is a traditionally unconventional project. Focused on lettering illustrations and handmade embroidered portraits, for this reason all the pieces are unique.
She’s constantly swimming in a rainbow of color to get inspired. It's the details and textures that feed her. Everything as to have a purpose. As unintentional as it may seem. Her hands are her tools of creation and her eyes, the eyedroppers of color.
The cotton threads played a trick on her. They appeared on a gray and boring day and then, they stayed. Thread painting became a second love. This approach requires a lot of planning and a constant rethinking. The digital and the analog always go hand in hand, and can be seen in her artwork, linking cultures and generations through a modern design.
