Jim Bosiljevac is a creative leader, educator, and mentor with 25 years of experience turning ideas into impactful advertising campaigns. He’s led teams at agencies like DDB and Leo Burnett, served as Head of Brand Creative at Yahoo, and worked on everything from global tech giants to scrappy startups.
For over two decades, Jim has also taught at leading portfolio programs and universities, guiding students in creative advertising, branding, storytelling, scriptwriting, copywriting, and campaign development. He is currently a professor at the University of Texas in Austin.
Jim’s teaching style is approachable and practical, rooted in strategy and consumer insight, and aimed at helping students find their own creative voice.
In his classes, you’ll learn how to turn a spark into a full creative pitch—from uncovering insights to generating ideas, from scribbles on sticky notes to polished presentations.
