Very well explained and very detailed cultural background and personal stories. Gives a lot to think about in terms of how we approach cultural practices as well as our relationship to our own clothes and manufacturing.
Overall highly recommend though I found the practical explanations to be slightly lackluster.

The Sashiko teacher is through, structured and quite interesting. I’m only on lesson two and am excited to use this medium in my mixed media projects in the future. I’ve taken the specialized ceramic course and was quite pleased to learn skills that I wasn’t aware of in my ten years as a potter. So far Domestika is exceeding my expectations.

Atsushi's background and information discussions are very interesting. The instructions are very detailed, good enough for complete beginners. However, there are many subscript errors (English audio, English subscripts). This does not detract heavily and is sufficient to guide the lessons. I am enjoying the structured lessons with the supplementary resource list.
