I have two styles of drawing either cartoony from my imagination or drawing realistically from a photo or life model. this course really helped me with combining the two. made me more able to draw more realistically from my imagination. even if I still need more practice and it looks stylized to me. this course draw me closer and all I need now it more practice.

Shaun explica con una gran naturalidad su proceso creativo y la ejecución de su obra. Permite que la espontaneidad, la sorpresa y la improvisación salten del papel en un entorno donde siempre tiene el control, y le da lugar al error y a la experimentación para que también formen parte del método de aprendizaje. Su moodboard y la manera en la que te invita a generar tu estilo y tu propia voz me volaron la cabeza. ¡Lo recomiendo ampliamente!

I am very happy to add this course to my mix if courses. Shaun has a relaxed style of teaching and goes with the flow with his own mistakes. It’s refreshing to see how an artist will in one moment say “I don’t like this” and start it again. I also like Shaun’s aesthetic and that’s the main reason I bought the course.

I found Shaun’s course and drawing very inspiring. Good tips on materials and methods, especially interesting the use of charcoal he does.

Really enjoyed the course particularly drawn to Shaun’s drawing style, however half way through I realised I knew 90% of what Shaun was teaching.
I would say this course is more for beginner/intermediate levels although I have learned a hand full of tips that will help take my next project to the next level.
