Diana teaches a simple way to paint a landscape by using classical methods. From the thumbnail sketches, composition, value and color studies to the step by step approach to complete your painting, Diana leaves nothing out. She is a fantastic teacher that explains not only how to attack a step but why we should. The suggestion to experiment mixing greens and making my own swatches has been a game changer for me. Looking forward to another course by Diana.

Diana takes the intimidating prospect of taking the classical approach to landscape painting and makes it accessible by breaking it down into achievable steps, with detailed, helpful commentary throughout

Loved this course! Everything is well explained. I used to feel intimidated about learning plein air but the instructor did a great job of making this very accessible and easy to understand. Can't wait to apply what I've learned in the spring!
