I wish some explanations were more detailed since the course level is 'beginner' but other than that I'm super satisfied and happy I can learn from James Daher. he's a fantastic artist.

The teacher is fantastic, but I do think you need to know After Effects in order to take this course. He dives straight into After Effects tools and navigates them without any pause to explain any of them. He really seems to assume you know every tool he's using. There are no supplementary materials to understand After Effects, just where to look up photos which is not helpful at all. They need to advertise this course as previous knowledge of Photoshop or Illustrator and After Effects.

It is super cool, but some basic after effects knowledge is requiered to undertsand and follow the steps he show in the course

Very specific cases in which the teacher explains very well what he is doing, maybe some basic After Effects knowledge is required to understand what you are doing, but maybe without any basic knowledge you would manage too. Teacher is also very helpful & reachable on the forum.

A very nice course for both beginners and experts in after effects who wants to level up their skills in cinemagraphs while getting to know more about the software called adobe after effects.
