The artist's work is beautiful. However, knowing what I know now I don't believe that I would take this course if I wasn't fluent in Spanish as the translation was significantly "off" and very literal to the point that it sometimes made no sense and made it difficult to learn the material. Perhaps the translation was AI generated? There must be some reason that it was so flawed.

The course felt very superficial, and I believe folk art is a highly interesting field that deserves a deeper exploration. I expected a more in-depth analysis of inspiration sources and techniques. The instructor’s explanations and approach also felt quite random and unstructured.

Although I thoroughly enjoyed this course, it's pretty basic. The artist has some amazing works and it would have been nice to see more of how one could achieve that in this course. Her inspiration comes from very diverse areas of folklore and I would have liked to see more of that in the course, how we can integrate it in our own work, how we should research it, etc.
