Sketchbook de retrato: explora el rostro humano

I signed up to the course because I was frustrated about my portrait drawing skills and I liked the drawing style that was displayed in the presentation. Well, I was not disappointed: Gabriela is a fine artist and a good teacher. The course inspired and motivated me to take up a regular portrait drawing practice and I feel that my skills have moved to the next level. I enjoyed the course and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have fun with portrait drawing.

Gabriela Niko hat es verstanden, mir die Grundlagen des Portraitzeichnens mit den wichtigen Proportionen und Feinheiten der Strukturen auf eine sehr nette und verständnisvolle Art zu vermitteln. Me parece que la profesora es muy talentosa como dibujante, pero en realidad no te explica, el curso consiste basicamente en verla dibujar.

I love the course! I really like this style of drawing portraits and I think the techniques are introduced very well. I’ll keep working on implementing them my art 😊

I was happy to do this course. Only every now and then I missed the inbetween steps, but I can imagine that it would otherwise take too long to show all the steps.
IN fact, the lessons were fine and the additional inforamtion was there as well. I am still looking at the additional material.

While I have just begun to really dive into the course, I find it to be a good idea generator and motivator to draw and sketch on a regular basis. The practice is highly beneficial.

Curso muy interesante, me encanta dibujar y pintar retratos y este curso es muy útil para ello, muy bien explicado y muy interesante, lo recomiendo!

Pretty insightful, although I wish it was more detailed towards the facial features and measurements. But other than that, I learned a lot and looking forward to practicing it

Gabriela's delivery and style of teaching is very soothing and informative. I appreciated her simplification of each step that felt very achievable. My only wish is that the grid method and or "measuring of features" to create a reasonable likeness of the reference portrait had been explored a little more. Otherwise this is a great course.

Love Gabriela's style! I learned many new techniques that will help me develop my own style. My favorite technique is her simplified way of doing hair.

Great course. I like how she didn't teach the method which using grid to draw portrait, and how this is just a sketchbook so it's okay to make mistake. Really recommend this course!
