I like the class. The teachers provide many extra articles and tidbits to read and explore. Highly recommend this if you are interested in hand tool woodworking. It doesn't cover everything but can you really expect it to?

The build-up to the project is very useful for beginners, e.g. anatomy of a block plane and how to sharpen tools (very important). It's a great project too but I felt that the actual project element had been over-edited and needed at least another 30 minutes of content. These are talented craftsmen with a lot to share but it was a bit heavy on 'talking head's which made it a bit flat overall with a hint of 'hostage video' thrown in.

I have done several carpentry courses with Domestika and each one provides fundamental tips from different perspectives. This one focuses on hand tools and explains their use and maintenance very well, at least the basic ones. Basic for anyone approaching carpentry.

Very good course, excellent information. Bobbing sand Hensby are good teacher. Just one suggestion. They can smile from time to time and be little more relaxed. Sometimes they face looks like they are scared. I recommend this course highly

Very detailed, informative and thorough course about woodworking with hand tools. Practical information and historical background of the design are very useful.

Thorough and thoughtful. It has inspired me to get back into woodwork after a gap of many years.
