Just the kind of course I was looking for. Portrait painting with loose touches and making it all so enjoyable. Torsten explains everything so well. The deconstruction part was my favorite, the way those strokes with the palette knife give such awesome results. I’m definitely going to give it a go tomorrow.

Bonjour. Je viens de débuter ce cours et je pense bien pouvoir l'apprécier énormément. Cependant, un seul petit hic, j'ai posé une question dès les premières leçons il y a de cela 14 jours et je suis toujours sans réponses ce qui est malheureux puisqu'à la base du mélange de medium suggéré dans ce cours, je n'ai donc pas avancé depuis. Je suis cependant confiante que l'on me répondra, j'apprécie déjà énormément les capsules théoriques et le premier exercice à venir.

Great course. I've taken several Domestika courses and this is my favorite. Great instruction by Torsten. Explains the process well, and I really appreciate hearing his thinking process as he completes the demo. I would definately take another course by him.

Muy interesante, no solo por el paso a paso si no porque comparte un poco su filosofía. Realmente de lo mejor que vi en Domestika al momento.

Es cierto que en un principio te duele hacer movimientos sobre las partes del cuadro más avanzadas, también es cierto que los resultados pueden ser fascinantes, me gusta todo lo que ha comentado sobre como plantar el cuadro, y los cambios que efectuaron después.

I love knowing the method he uses for so many of the unique qualities in his paintings...so much valuable information I'm going to go through this painting many times no doubt. Thank you for sharing your techniques!

This course was honestly such a breakthrough. I’ve been taking lessons from a private artist and I think he explains what she has tried explaining to me for a while now. Sometimes you need to hear things multiple times in different ways for them to stick. I am forever grateful for this course and he is very funny and entertaining, not brining like some other instructors.
