I am not done yet with the class, but so far so good. I like the pace, the explanations, the demos, and the personalized attention that Philip brings to each student. And although I am not a total beginner, I am progressing a lot, and I know that by the end of the class, I will be ready for the botanical illustration project that I have been contemplating for a while.

I had no idea how to use a dip pen to create images and this short but useful course got me started and helped me feel more confident with this medium. All aspects of dip pen and ink were explained well and the examples and videos were most helpful.

This course arrived at just the right time for me, I had been experimenting in pen and ink using fineliners and was starting to enjoy the style. Philip relaxed style helped me make the switch easily to the dip pen with the detailed steps and easy to follow videos. I would highly recommend this course and would hope there is a more advanced version to follow up the ideas and inspiration I gained here.

El curso me parece muy bueno. Detallado y bien explicado, debo añadir que quizás el título debería añadir que se trata únicamente de lápiz y tinta china (NEGRA), en mi caso mi interés (por ahora), está más enfocado a la combinación de tinta y color, y necesito conocer la técnica de la aplicación del color. en plumilla y pincel (tinta y/o acuarela),
