Sketchbook botánico: una aproximación meditativa

I am about half the way through the entire class and am impressed enough to buy his first class on urban sketching. Lapin’s meditatative focus, organization, personality and voice, and teaching style are, to me, most enjoyable!

I haven't finished yet, but I am really enjoying this course. I think my drawings are getting better too. ;-)

Such a lovely idea - to draw for meditation and letting go of the results. So often what comes up surprises you. Presented so well and with gentleness, helps you be gentle with yourself.

This course is going hand-in-hand with a course I am taking at university—Contemplation and Care for Creation. Instead of journaling with words, I am journaling with pictures. Lapin’s pace and teaching skills are amazing. I am so grateful for this course and in combination with my university class, I am having a mind, body and soul experience! Excellence in every way.

Very nice approach to drawing…very detailed relative to “loose” painting with which I’m more familiar but taught in a relaxing way. I’m really loving the discovery of another art form for me!

I enjoy the pace and clarity of this course. Lapin is an inspiration, and feels like a clear and patient teacher. I don't feel rushed, and I feel confident and competent in my drawing. The assignments and the class itself are peaceful meditations.

This is such an easy to follow course that makes you look at colours and observe the plant. I can't do standard meditation, but this is better. Being in the moment with a result at the end.
