I thought this course was incredibly comprehensive. The level of detail was excellent. I initially signed up for it to understand more about colour as a painter, and I learned that and much more. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing about Richard's influences, especially Corita Kent, whom I am astounded that no one has done a film about yet.

Love the indepth teaching on colors, the various types of contrast and how to better understand color and its functions.

I've just started, but I like this course. Hope to get a lot of new, interesting and useful knowledge

With mentors and teachers like Paul Rand and Bradbury Thompson and Herbert Matter you know an instructor like Richard is not messing around. The About Me and Influnces lessons alone are worth their weight in gold. I really enjoyed this course and learned a lot of new aspects about color theory I wasn’t aware of.

Please ask Richard to come back for more courses about graphic design principles, or perhaps even a deeper dive into colors.
