I absolutely loved this course. Maru is very personable. She explained things really well, the differences between working dry and wet with gouache, adding coloured pencil, using blotches or daubs of colour, panoramic views and composition, colour palettes. The list goes on. I'd absolutely recommend this course and look forward to doing more of her courses.

I've been a big fan of Maru Godas' work for a long time and this course does not disappoint! One thing to improve the course or for the next one is to be able to see more into how she composes a scene either on location or from reference images.

Der Kurs ist sehr gut aufgebaut und alles wird anschaulich erklärt. Die Begeisterung von Maru Dogas ist so erfrischend und lädt zum experimentieren und spielerischem Erkunden ein. Sie teilt großzügig ihr Wissen, und so kann man in kurzer Zeit sehr viel lernen. Dafür vielen Dank! Schade finde ich, dass die deutschen Untertitel mal sehr gut und mal sehr "na ja" sind. Es ist trotzdem gut zu verstehen, worum es geht.

This is a really fun course, jam packed with detailed explanations and demonstrations showing how to use gouache, mix colours and achieve different tones. As an English speaker I found the subtitles worked really well alongside the Spanish audio and I learnt a lot from Maru’s clear teaching style.
