I have been buried under work for a long time and now I’m trying to find out who I am as a person and what I like to do in my spare time. During last couple of years I’ve been creating a digital pdf planner for my own use, I`ve been learning digital drawing with Procreate and I’ve got my hands dirty with airdry clay. Now I want to try weaving with a frame loom.
With physical art I usually like to work with bigger and rougher elements than with really fine and delicate elements, because I’m naturally a bit clumsy. With digital work it’s easier to focus on smaller details. I usually love a bit kitsch or playful art like doghnuts or ice creams made out of glass or wool. I like iteams that make me smile.
Artists like Lucy Cambpell, Yaoi Kusama, Fernando Vicente, Katariina Souri, Orcum Erdem or Armi Teva inspire me. I like anatomy or pop culture inspired art. I also like when art visualizes feelings or dreams.
