About the Company
FCR Digital, SIA is a small but highly advanced digital marketing company that emerged from the well-known FCR Media Group, which has branches in various European countries.
Tasks & Challenges
As the company separated from its parent brand, a new brand identity, website, and visuals were needed. We had to evaluate what elements to keep from the old brand and what to build anew. Despite being a new entity, the company already had a loyal client base and a good reputation from previous years of operation. The question was, how much to diverge from the old brand identity and whether or not to change the name entirely. Additionally, as marketing companies become more prevalent, the need to differentiate becomes increasingly important. We had to take that into account when redesigning the brand.
Results
We knew that we didn't want to maintain the previous corporate style and decided to make the new brand more creative, distinct, and personalized, as is typical of high-quality agencies. To do this, we needed a solid idea to build upon. Fortunately, we had one already. The company's employees had worked under the mantra "We are your guide in digital marketing", which we used as a starting point for the new concept of "north-star in digital marketing." We used a beautiful image of the northern lights as inspiration for the color palette and created texts and symbols around the metaphor of a north star as a guide.
Regarding the logo, we decided to keep the "FCR" abbreviation as it was well-known, but removed the word "media" or "digital" from the design to focus on the short name. To make it visually unique, we created custom letters and made them legible in small formats, which is important in social media. The category name can be included in the logo if needed, depending on the context, to avoid clutter around the beautiful logo letters.
To emphasize the reputation aspect, on the website we included the text "90% of our clients continue their journey with us long-term" to show the high satisfaction rate. Additionally, we included client reviews under the hero image. To make the company more personal, we included a section called "what we are" with a picture of the company's employees. To guide potential clients, we added a section on "how to start" as some potential clients may not know specifically what they need.
