Carmen Leigh

I am multi-passioned, multimedia artist, who simply loves to create - rarely sticking to one medium for long. I'm not sure I'll ever be the master of one, I just enjoy following my curiosity to produce things I find fun, challenging, or beautiful. Natural objects or landscape tend to feature in my work, but I also have a desire to learn portraits and figure drawing.

I'm quite exploratory, I spend a lot of time on photography, multi-media art (leaning into acrylic), printmaking, and a lot of collecting for sometimes scrapbooking. I've spend time on creative writing and digital art and design, but I get the most joy from tactile art.

I'm slowly building confidence in my creative endeavours, as I've spent years pushing it aside for more "proper" pursuits. I still feel very new to being an artist and clumsy with what I can do now. My truest goal is just to produce things I'm proud of and enjoyed.
