Angie

I'm a 55 year old mom of two grown daughters, who loved drawing as a kid but hasn't done much for decades. I want to care for my creative side again. I took a few courses, now doing more on domestika, and discovering digital art with Procreate. I dabbled in filmmaking, and made a few short animations using various styles. They are on my YouTube channel (Angie Zimaro). I grew up on old cartoons like bugs bunny, but I was amazed when I first saw Battle of the Planets (American version of the Japanese Gatchaman), and I watched every episode! It was my first taste of anime, and still my favorite. I enjoyed watching Sailor Moon with my daughter. I currently work as a web developer, but got my first design job creating a menu for the restaurant my younger daughter works at. I loved it, and they loved the menu! :) When I was a child I always said I wanted to be an artist, and my dad always shot me down saying 'artists don't make money'. I want to make money doing art, being creative.
