Alberto Criscione is a Sicilian sculptor. He began his artistic career, learning the basics of sculpture in his father's workshop in Ragusa, and then learning new skills in the ceramic and sculptural field in Tuscany, Denmark and Palermo, where he still lives and works. His research has always focused on
the feelings that animate the human being, and to tell this he often drew on images of the archaic era connoting them with a noir humor. He has recently exhibited his projects in the Neu [nòi] space, at the S. Maria dello Spasimo church, at Villa Naselli-Agliata on the occasion of the Via dei Tesori, at Palazzo delle Aquile, at the Expofficine, at the XXS Gallery, at Palazzo Costantino, at Loggiato of San Bartolomeo for the BIAS 2020, at Raffaello Art Gallery and at Almareni Art in Palermo. He also exhibited in Milan at the Costantini Art Gallery, in Marsala on the occasion of Kalòs - the Sicily of contemporary art, at the FACE FESTIVAL 9 of Raggio Calabria, at MABOS (art museum in the Sila wood) and more recently at the church of San Bartolomeo in Ragusa Ibla and to the exibithion “AcquAria” at Casa dell’Architettura in Rome.
Has been collaborating for several years with Raffaello Art Gallery and Almareni Art in Palermo.
